and this is my son Hayes. Hayes was officially diagnosed with Level 2 Autism at the age of 3. He was primarily non-verbal up until he turned 4. Now at age 5, he talks up a storm and started Kindergarten at a public elementary school. My journey with him has been anything but easy and self-care became non-existent. The Overstimulated Momma represents my way of decompressing and embracing my own chaotic life while also supporting my son. I need to be physically and mentally present for him every day and this website helps me do just that.
